Big news: my poem “A Duplex for Nerve Root Signature” has been selected as the 1st-place winner of the 2026 Sweet Literary Poetry Prize, judged by poet Meghan Sterling.

Yes, I’m on a Book Tour.

It just doesn’t look like I thought it would. Bloodstream and I are out there in the world, doing what’s manageable, and determined to have fun. So far, so good.

“Write it down”: My notebook discovery

I never thought I’d say it. A notebook can be a writer’s best friend. They can be beautiful, and — had you asked me just over a month ago — I would have said, also completely useless. I was wrong.
