A year isn’t a long time, yet it can feel like an eternity. Cheers to all who have traveled my book’s journey with me so far!

I never thought I’d say it. A notebook can be a writer’s best friend. They can be beautiful, and — had you asked me just over a month ago — I would have said, also completely useless. I was wrong.

This will be my 4th AWP conference…but my first-ever with a debut book of poems in hand to sell and sign. I’ll also be participating in first off-site reading in years with an incredible group of women poets. I can’t wait!
