Sarah has been publishing her poems in literary journals and newspapers since the early 1980s. Her work has appeared in Rattle, The Carolina Quarterly, Portland Review, South Dakota Review and many other little magazines with recent poems in Rise Up Review, Superstition Review, Gyroscope Review and Arsenic Lobster and pending in Valparaiso Poetry Review, Barrow Street and The Christian Century. Many of the poems in her new chapbook, The Heart Contracts (Finishing Line Press, 2016) previously appeared in various literary publications and are listed below.
